UK Tides

Welcome to the home site of UK Tides, the iPhone and iPad app that gives you access to tidal information for the whole of the UK for up to a year in advance (and with 250 years of history!).  This app is designed to be highly intuitive with a simple user interface to access the vast database of tide information provided by the UK Hydrographic Office.

Release 2.0 is now available with improved support for tide streams and information sharing.  See tide steam velocity and direction at over 1,000 locations and at 5 minute intervals throughout the day up to a year in the future.

The app shows:

• Tide times and heights for over 600 ports across the UK, for any date up to a year in the future.

• Tide heights at 5 minute intervals for any 24 hour period on any day up to a year in the future.

• Average tide levels for spring and neap tides in addition to HAT, LAT and MSW heights.

• Admiralty format tide tables per port for any month up to a year in the future, see them in real time or save them for future use.

• Tide stream velocity and direction at over 1,000 UK coastal locations.

• Key astronomical data - such as dawn and dusk times, moon phases and moon rise/set times.

• Flexible search and map functions to find the tides you need.

• Ability to capture screens and share them through all your media channels.
